Property Support Specialist


 This is a position designed to provide supports to all agency service areas in the area of Property Management.   This Support Specialist will perform responsibilities related to property/facility management utilizing a documentation system for both areas to ensure all state and local mandatory regulations are met


  • Processing Work Requests

  • Process submitted work request, enter into dBase and submit to Maintenance or Property Manager

  • Follow up phone calls and emails to determine work request needs and urgency

  • Contact Maintenance staff, Property Managers or outside vendor/s as needed immediate concerns

  • Close out completed work orders in the dBase

  • Coordinate with outside vendors to schedule and track fire alarm system and sprinkler inspections to ensure completion

  • Track and send alerts to programs for fire extinguisher inspections

  • Participate in Property Management monthly meetings to report statistical analysis of work requests status

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or GED and minimum 2 years experience working in an administrative capacity, preferably with experience in DD/Autism field.
  2. Computer Skills- proficient in Microsoft Office systems
  3. General Knowledge of  Property  Maintenance
  4. General knowledge of federal and state licensing laws and regulations
  5. Knowledge of office equipment (Copier, fax, phone)
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  7. Clear Criminal Record
  8. Valid PA driver’s license to meet travel requirements
