Program Specialist

KenCrest is seeking a  Program Specialist responsible for the “team” working together in the best interest of the individuals served. The Program Specialist coordinates and ensures all required needs and services are available for 30 residents within the Homes. This position acts as an advocate for the residents, and a position of support for all program/specialized services.

  • Complete initial, monthly, and quarterly reports, resident assessments and required paperwork for the 6400 regulations, PA 51 regulations and attend ISP meetings.
  • Write procedures for all residents’ activities.
  • Ensure the resident’s home is a safe, functional living space to meet individual needs.
  • Be on-call on a regular rotation and respond to emergency calls as needed.
  • Serve as school liaison.
  • Coordinate and participate in all evaluations including, PT, OT, speech, sensory as well as wheelchairs, medical and adaptive equipment.
  • Assess potential resident risks for admission and complete intake paperwork, initial assessment, initial ISP and initial and ongoing staff training.


  • Bachelors Degree in human services related field and 4 years work experience with persons with intellectual disabilities.
  • Must successfully complete orientation, first aid, CPR, Diabetes training and medication training and practicum.
  • Valid driver's license, and minimum 3 years driving in PA.
  • Medical clearance.
  • Criminal history and child abuse clearance.

Monday - Friday; 8:30AM - 4:30PM
