Job Description



Program Specialist

KenCrest is seeking a  Program Specialist responsible for the “team” working together in the best interest of the individuals served. The Program Specialist is responsible for fulfilling the requirements of Program Specialist and Activities Coordinator as outlined in the Department of Public Welfare's 2380 & 2390 Regulations a well as the Department of Aging 6 PA Code Chapter 11. This position shall be responsible for:


1. Coordinating the training of the direct care staff to the assessments and ISP

2. Health, safety and protection of participants of the programs

3. Supervising, monitoring and evaluating individual services

5. Compliance of all relative regulations.

Qualifications

A degree in one of the fields listed below:

Speical Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Speech Pathology Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or other Human services field.

A Master's degree 1 year work experience working directly with persons with disabilities.

A Bachelor's degree  2 years work experience working directly with individuals with  disabilities

An Associate Degree  4 years work experience working directly with individuals with  disabilities

Salary $ 33,579

Valid Driver's License

Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances
