Night Nurse House Managers

KenCrest is seeking a Night Nurse House Manager for the Children's Transitional Care Homes.  The Night Nurse House Manager is responsible for assessing and supervising staff and activities in the Transitional Care Homes including quality oversight of nursing practices and documentation.  The manager will also be responsible for ensuring the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the homes during the overnight shift.  Responsibilities include:

  •  Provide direct supervision of staff nurses and residential care workers 
  • Ensures that all staff members adhere to the established Protocols, Procedures and Standards of Practice
  • Oversee day to day operations in the homes in collaboration with the day nurse house manager
  • Incorporate knowledge od infant-child growth and development as well as knowledge of disease processes to assess and analyze delivery of nursing care
  • Maintain regular contact with Assistant Director and scheduled management meetings to assure ongoing quality of service

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse, Valid PA Nursing License
  • Minimum of 5 years pediatric vent / trach experience
  • Previous supervisory experience 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have own mode of transportation
  • Maintenance of required 30 CEU hrs./2 years
  • Current CPR certification
  • Clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
