House Manager

KenCrest Services is embarking on a new innovative residential model for young adults with intellectual developmental disabilities after they turn 21 years of age.  This unique life-sharing model offers a home for young adults with disabilities and is supervised by 'live-in' support professionals and coworkers.  We believe that this type of 24/7 living arrangement promotes greater continuity of care while also creating a richer and more meaningful life for everyone.

We are currently seeking a House Manager who is committed to helping guide youngt adults with different disabilities into the adult world and assist them in reaching their full potential both at the home/farm located in Kimberton, Pennsylvania and also in their surrounding community and who are amenable to a live-in arrangement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the complete administration of the community home, including decision making regarding; health, safety and happiness of individuals we support, staff supervision, support and development and property/vehicle maintenance
  • Understand/implement and ensure all compliance with state, county and federal rules and regulations under which KenCrest is licensed/governed.
  • Attend ISP meetings and participate in all evaluations including PT, OT, speech, sensory and any other required supports
  • Ensure all MAR and medication logs are properly documented
  • Provide training/mentoring/coaching/positive supervision to staff on an on-going basis

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience with at leat three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in Inspired Community/Intentional Community model
  • Microsoft office familiarity, Kronos, previous training on positive approaches, supervision and leadership techniques
  • Acceptable criminal and child abuse clearance in accordance with state requirements
  • Valid Driver's license
