Job Description



Client Benefits Analyst

Responsible for the performance of client account finance tasks duties including but not limited to Social Security, Compass and Waiver recerts.

Area of focus primarily Delaware and CT programs. 



 Job Responsibilities:

  • Rep-Payee Reports
  • SNAP applications, Recertification, issue resolution
  • Waiver Recertification
  • Rent Rebate applications and follow-up
  • Social Security issue resolution with other Benefit Staff
  • Review and Entry of Room and Board Adjustment  (monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Client bank deposits
  • Assisting program with establishment and compliance of policy regarding client accounts
  • Ability to Occasionally Travel to Connecticut and Delaware satellite offices for meetings (with supervisor)




Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field and 2 years of financial office experience or 8 years of financial office experience.

Prior experience working with Social Security benefits, Compass or Waiver recertification required. 

Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and Outlook required. 

Experience with financial applications preferred, specifically Evolv, Compass, and Promise.
