Business Development Manager ( Philadelphia Territory)


The Business Development Manager leads a sales team to exceed sales goals in a fast-paced start up sales environment. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager is a content expert with at least 5 years' experience in a role directly related to the designated targeted markets. The Business Development Manager is responsible for some direct oversight and leadership of the IndeTech sales team, collaboration with the Managing Director to stay informed about market trends and product development needs.   The Business Development Manager serves as the subject matter expert on all IndeTech products, with a clear focus on AVAIL. The Business Development Manager is responsible for utilizing content knowledge and market research to develop new connections and to leverage existing relationships to ready the market for sales.  The Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering high-impact sales presentations to C-suite level executives concerning IndeTech technology, spearheading strategy for 1-2 market verticals, and assisting in the training and implementation process as needed.  The Business Development Manager will combine both content knowledge and presentation skills to expand marketing opportunities that result in sales. 


Job Responsibilities.

  • Direct oversight and leadership of sales team
  • Forge a collaborative relationship with Managing director and developer to stay informed of new trends in the marketplace
  • Partner with the marketing and product development groups to ensure that product solutions and materials  are targeted
  • Serve as subject matter expert on all IndeTech solution products, with a clear focus on cloud-based ad mobile solutions.
  • Deliver high-impact sales presentations to c-suite level executives concerning IndeTech Solutions technology, commanding the presence of the room; specialize in negotiations and closing.
  • Spearhead strategy for designated market verticals.
  • Working closely with Managing director  to  further develop  the training/implementation process
  • This position requires up to 60% overnight travel.
  • Lead sales team to develop and deliver effective selling and positioning strategies.
  • Direct oversight of sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using designated CRM.
  • Drive revenue within the Mobile health and assistive technology market.
  • Work Closely with Managing director and team to develop a strategic sales plan within each targeted market on a national level.
  • Assist in oversight of outcome and training teams to deliver successful implementation and adoption of the product to customers. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required (degree related to  human services preferred)
  • 5 + years of experience in technology, education, and/or health and human services markets
  • Prior supervisory supervisory/management experience
  • A passion to get the maximum satisfaction of your customers
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in English
  • Experience using mobile health technology products or similar products
  • Background in customer engagement and driving customer adoption
  • A genuine interest in  human services and the integration of technology into the arena
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a metric based performance environment
