Assistant Program Coordinator

KenCrest Services’ early childhood program provides quality child care for young children with and without special needs.  We are seeking an enthusiastic leader to provide supervision and coordination for one of our preschool programs.

The Assistant Program Coordinator has primary responsibility for assuring quality educational services for children by providing for curriculum development and implementation, as well as technical assistance to teaching staff.  The Assistant Program Coordinator supports the Program Coordinator in providing leadership and program management for the early childhood center; and assuring that all program structures, facilities and practices meet applicable safety, legal, regulatory and program standards.  Finally, the APC models and supports the agency’s guiding principles and philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
  • Pennsylvania Pre-K-4 Teacher Certification (Level VI On Career Lattice) preferred
  • Commitment to complete Director's Credential within 2 years of hire. Director's Credential Preferred.
  • Five years experience working with young children an their families in an educational setting.
