Assistant Director - Employment

KenCrest is seeking an Assistant Director of Employment Services who will be responsible for the program and fiscal management for all of KenCrest’s diverse Supported Employment programs, and the creation of new and marketable services that include career/employment preparation and instruction.  The various services include supported employment, customized employment, Project Search, Pre-Employment Transition Supports, and School Based Transition. 

We are looking for an out of the box thinker who will bring positive energy and creativity to our team.  If you enjoy the challenge of:

  • Team Building

  • Social Capital Building and Asset Based Community Building

  • Strategic Planning

  • Creative Program Design

This may be the right job for you.

The right candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience and excellence in the Supported Employment field.

  • Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience.

  • Discovery and Customized Employment Accreditation through Griffin-Hammis or Marc Gold & Associates or the Certified Employment Support Professional credential through APSE.

  • 5 years of experience as a leader, supervisor or manager in a supported employment program.

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
