Administrative Secretary

KenCrest Services is looking for a full time Administrative Secretary to support one of its Early Childhood Learning Centers located in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.  The Administrative Secretary will assist the Program Coordinator in providing an array of administrative supports and services necessary for efficient running of the KenCrest Kensington Early Learning Center located in Philadelphia.   Our mission is to provide high quality Head Start, Pre-K Counts and childcare for young children living in the community. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong administrative and communication skills to join our team.


  • Provides full administrative secretarial support to Program Coordinator and staff, including typing correspondence, faxing, copying and filing
  • Answer phones and relay messages to appropriate staff, assist with follow up calls received from public, families and other KenCrest office
  • Complete data entry in on-line systems accurately and timely.
  • Communicates with families and staff.  
  • Maintains Supply orders, acts as a liaison for the property and the site
  • Organizes and develops systems of tracking.

Minimum Qualifications:

•           High school diploma/GED

•           Experience with multiple on-line data systems required

•           Highly organized and detail oriented

•           Ability to communicate effectively.
